Default Back to basics

I have had an SK360 for a few months now and I must admit, wasn't entirely happy with it. I had done lots of fiddling and tuning but was never really happy with the feel and some of its idiosyncrasies. So I gave it a rest for a few weeks and concentrated on few new projects (FPV what a hoot).

Anyway I decided to go back to basics and start with the default settings in advanced tab. Took it for a hover and was pleasantly surprised that these settings felt way better then my adjustments. Ended up only making a few minor adjustments from the default setup which were simply a bit more Bell gain on the elevator and reduced the dead band to 1% on both Elevator and Aileron.

Model feels really locked in now and feels very similar to a stable flybared setup except with nice aerobatic performance.

I suppose the point of this post is just to say that if you are having trouble getting the SK360 to fly the way you want it to, first go back to the default settings and make sure any adjustments you make are made in small increments. My flybarless machine is now back to being my favorite model again.
