Default Flybarless headspeed on a 450 size heli

I am considering converting a Beam E4 to flybarless with the Gaui head and SK360. I have a Trex 500 with this combination and I have found that it performs far better at a lower headspeed. So my question is, what is the ideal 3D headspeed on a 450 size flybarless heli, as it seems common that 3400-3500rpm on the flybarred heads, but I assume that is probably overkill.

Anyone?

Interesting, aaron07

Do you have a theory why it performs better, and in what way....

I run very high speed on my flybarless Trex 500 (over 2900 rpm)

Perfeet,

2600/2700 rpm hs. You must try. Oldschool advised me on this, but I forget his theory, but from my experience:

1.) More pop
2.) More precise
3.) Longer flight time
4.) Cool power system (packs and motor) ambient 30 degreesC. (8S Outrage 25C 2200's)

= Perfection

Aaron, I am running 2400, 2600 and 2800, for normal, idle-1 and idle-2, all great and stable at high piro rate, only that I am not a good 3D pilot, we may ask Skookum this question, he tested the SK 360 before he launched it and the footages were impressive.

Those videos were Alvin! I'm happy to do basic aerobatics. Anyways, if I remember right he just ran standard headspeeds for 3D on the trex, maybe a little lower.
