Last year I posted a thread labelled "Ultimate Dragonus 2 Upgrade". Read it. I've used both the Trex 450 head and Rave 450 head. I'd recommend the Trex head as it is more easily sourced and spares are cheap and easy to find. Actually, I'd probably get the ALZRC knock off if I had it to do from scratch. In my case, my Drag would inherit the FB head of heli's as I converted them to FBL. I use the swashplate from a Gazaur Mars 480 which is of slightly better quality than the RCER part and is directly compatible. When it comes to modifying the Dragonus to use other manufacturers parts I've probably been there and done that. I love the look and sound of the Drag but getting replacement parts is expensive and can take time. Be sure to stock up on the RCER hardened main shafts.

The Gazaur Mars swashplate that you're speaking of, is it this one?

feapril, I may have asked you this question before.

Thanks

Yes, you put the pitch and aileron balls on the front of the tabs. You might neet to add a small spacer to offset the balls a mm or two to get the links straight up and down but this swash works very well. It has superior durability and precision compared to align or rcer swashplates. Just be sure to use the inside holes or you'll be over sensitive on aileron.
