Default 450 Pro DFC Tail pushrod

Does anyone make a stiffer tail servo linkage pushrod? The stock flimsy tail pushrod is just too weak for my liking. I hate seeing that thing bend and bind!!

Assuming the DFC uses the same-length pushrod as the regular Pro (I don't see any reason why they'd be different), Tarot makes a carbon fiber version. I like it.

Get a 3mm OD/2mm ID carbon tube and put it around the stock pushrod. Cheap and very stiff.

I make my own CF rods but use a square/box section CF rod, it just seems to have a little less 'give' than the round CF rods.

Another vote for the Tarot push rod.

I make my own using 3mm CF tube and linkage rods JB welded into the ends. I do not like the idea of leaving the stock pushrod inside CF tube, I can see the potential for all sorts of weird harmonic vibrations being caused by the pushrod rattling around inside the CF tube and upsetting gyro/FBL controllers.

You could use shrink wrap to attach a carbon rod to the stock one, then lose the guides.

Doesn't happen. I usually pour some CA down the tube, then JB weld the ends.

if the rod is too stiff, it may damage the servo gear when it crash?? is it better to leave the rod just a bit of flexability?

If it's a carbon rod with no guide, typically it just pops off in a crash and doesn't break or hurt servo gears.
