Gears and servo arms are dyed. The strap was stitched on a home embroidery machine

Thanks Jason. I have always found the RIT dye in the grocery store on the same aisle as the laundry supplies. You can get it from the RIT web site as well http://www.ritdye.com/home.lasso

I have the Scorpion 35amp commander and the -8 motor. I've tried the 13,14, and 15 tooth pinions. 13 is more than enough for sport flying. 14 tooth makes for a lively experience and the 15 makes the Beam very quick. I'm talking 450 heli with Gaui 200 reflexes. Don't blink.

Here's an updated pic. The previous ones were taken back in April. The only major changes are the Radix blades, Hyperion tail blades, paddles, landing gear, and minor cosmetic bits. This heli has held up very well after a few crashes. Motor, ESC, servos are the ones installed originally.

Simarion ,, swap your tail servo to the other side of the boom... that way if it has a bad crash the main blade cant chop the back off the servo case

if its mounted on the other side then the main blade will hit the boom not the servo

looks nice

Here is a pic of my E4. Running a Scorpion 8v2 with a Scorpion 55A ESC - HS65MGs on the head and a HG-5000 Gyro with a HSG-5083 tail servo.
I just bumped it up to a 12T pinion and I am loving the Beam.
