Default trex 550 vbar trouble!?

3 main cogs n 3 pair of tail blades later i still cant set up the vbar


its just the tail part, it looks correct of the ground, end points look right but when i spool it up and get it off the floor, it just wants to spin around in circles. ive tried reversing the rudder in the tx and on the vbar itself through the computer and it still wants to spin. i dont get it!?

its vbar 5.2 and is the standard align tail servo for the 500e.

When you give the radio right rudder input is the slider on the rudder going toward the tail? If it is hold the heli so that the canopy is toward your left and then with your right hand push just the tail of the heli away from your body, the tail slider should move toward the boom again.

Default 8 degrees error - HELP!!

The swash plate is level - the swash arms are parallel (90 degrees) - the collective is at center stick (50% on the DX7) - the blade-holder connecting links are 80mm long (per the manual) but the blade holders have 8 degrees pitch instead of 0 degrees pitch.

What in the world am I doing wrong?

Make sure that you're using a linear pitch curve 0 to 100%

Adjust the pitch links to give you 0 deg.

The lengths in the manual are ball park values, in addition to some manuals having typo errors - make sure you check the link lengths in the Chinese text line.
