Ok so I had to set a couple cameras up and see how fast the 270 CFX was going from goal post to goal post.
One camera being wide angle makes the footage a bit odd to watch but enjoy!
Best passes are on my 2nd and 3rd packs.

Also keep in mind these are some of my first ever speed passes other than on RealFlight. Pretty fun I must say...love the sound of the heli screaming!

First quick passes I've made in a long time. Haven't really started practicing speed passes yet...but plan to soon to prep for RCHN4.

Got my 325 in the air again, just not with the Rail blades I want yet.
So for now I got out and did some FFF tuning as there has been a elevator oscillation at the higher speeds. I believe my tail gains are pretty good so far for FFF but in tic-tocs and hard punches the tail is still swinging out(CCW) a wee bit. I've got my pitch precomp up to 40. Using Switch 60mm tails. I can post my gain numbers later if someone cares to help diagnose the tail not holding rock solid but I've yet to do much 3D tuning and it holds pretty well.

Oh man though...initially the I was way off and the P was at 0 because I forgot it wasn't hardset in the Brain by default to a reasonable number. First time using a Brain. Needless to say that was a FUN flight haha tail back and forth like a metronome and feeling sloppy as a you know what! Landed fine though.

Here's a video of my recent FFF tuning...starts out slow and a bit bumpy then starts to feel a bit more solid. Didn't have a camera man or my head mount that day so all I got are the middle of the passes and none of the approaches. Cut out all the no-action bits. I was a speed addict before I found helis...can't wait to have a speed specific heli eventually!

It still needs more FBL tuning and more weight in the front, but it's starting to feel better! Still not even had ten flights, so there's a lot more to come.

TDR II 16° @ 2,500rpm (1 min 52 sec)

Since this video I have put the heli in tail first during some low tictocs+distracting bugs flying in my face....anyways, it was flying really solid after I solved the tail vibes. Went up to 3900 from 3800 which is about max with this gearing...idk what it's dropping to during the full collective passes though. Still only 12pitch. Not really trying to overwork the system while just practicing and getting the machine solid.

I haven't given up on the speedfuse but have just had too many other things going on this Summer to set aside the time to get another prototype made up.

Been talking with Quinn and this little guy might go 8S if going to the largest available pinion(15T) isn't enough. I'm running 14T/136T currently. Don't think I have any other main gear options as it's a Blade main gear...maybe someone made a 135T and I'll look into that. With 8S I could get some serious headspeed going and then really try and compete. That is if the rest of the heli hold together haha!

I hadon't a brain fart. The main gear is a 135T. I should double check my ESC to make sure I also have it enter as 135T there.
