Crawling underneath to light the fireworks is so dangerous!

There are a few night flight videos where fireworks are launched via some kind of electronic switch. Maybe a relay + a resistor that heats up; I don't know exactly.

they could have just extended the fuse and lit before spooling up.

Watching this kind of stupidity is pretty entertaining though

I'm not sure which is more cringeworthy, the pilots tail in skill level, or that ballooning descent before landing. This video is wrong on many levels, but those two things just stick out.
