Default Metal Elev. Servo Mount

Are there any options for not using the metal mount? I want to put a bigger motor in and it is binding on this metal servo mount???

Double check, but I believe HN7074 is the plastic version.

I pretty much had to dremmel down the entire center section of the metal mount to make my 4525 fit. And that is with 13T pinion also. With 12T is is gonna be closer. It fits but its tight.

I am using the 12t pinion for now, I found a way to make it fit without any modding. I just turned the servo mount around facing the open end to the motor fits perfect.

I had the same issue with mine. I had to use the metal elevator servo mount so that I my servo wire leads would not be in a severe bind (RJX hi voltage servo) the location that the wiring comes out of the case is in a different location than the Align and JR servos so you are forced to at the very least do some modifying of something or another there.
Instead of dremiling or machining the aluminum mount or anything like that I found that I could just turn it over and face the side of the servo mount that is open towards my motor and it gave me the clerance that I needed all the way around. I will take some pics this evening when I get back home

Oh and the original motor would have cleared the mount fine no matter which direction it was mounted. The Scorpion 4525-520 Ultimate will not clear the mount without either turning it around or altering the mount.

Exactly that's what I did as stated earlier using a Xera 4530-500...
