This has to be one of the easiest gyros to setup.
I am running one on my 600 and it took me all of 3 min to setup when I first got it.
Read the manual, it's super easy. I have a 2100T on my 450 and it takes 20 min but the time you mess with all the stuff you have to setup.

I don't know about your servo but I noticed this on the website.

NOTICE: To be used with Futaba 600 Series Gyros Only

The blinking lights represent the frame rate the servo is capable of. I know that 2 flashes mean a 333 frame rate like that of a JR8900
Try 3 flashes and see what happens.
If you go to Spartan's site, there is a chart that will tell you what servos will work and what the setting on the gyro should be.

AzHeliCrasher,
Please see the firmware release notes which provide details on what has been added and changed. I believe you will find the answers you need there.

I am catching it with a DS760 and a Futaba 7C. I don't have the USB cable so I have to do radio set up. Can't get it to setup for the life of me.

What exactly are you struggling with regarding Tx setup?

Setting it up with the TX is easy. I just setup a new one last night. Took about 3 minutes.
What can't you get setup right?

Wag is usually the gain is too high, or you have something sticking in the tail movement.
Also it could be you have the ball link too far out on the tail servo. They like to be close for the best resolution. On a 450 size it should be around 6 to 8mm from center.
What radio are you using it with?

Default Servo menu access with a Futaba 10ch TGY-930 on 500 heli

I have not been able to get to the selection menu for the gyuro set-up. I power on the Tx, then power the heli with left rudder input while switching between Norm/AVCS modes. Once fully powered the light is solid in AVCS and off in Normal mode. I can push rudder to the left and I get two blinks. I can not get the two blinks to change to 1 or 3. I am using a Turnigy TGY-930 servo on the tail of a 500 heli. Any help? Not sure which mode to use, but it does not seem to be working for me properly.

Thanks
Kenny

I would try 3 flashes, the servo looks like the hyperion type servo, but I can't find any specs on it other then speed and voltage.
Sometimes all you can do it experiment.

Thanks for the tip, only problem is, I can't seem to get it into setup mode to select the number of blinks. I have tried to follow exactly what the directions say, but can't make any changes.

I have one that is a little fussy too. Just keep trying, hold the rudder stick to the left and and toggle the gear switch, once your in, move the rudder stick, don't hold it long. The trick is to give it a quick stab to the left or right to select your setting.

I have a question about the firmware update to my DS760. I just got the FlashLink cable and was reading some notes on the Spartan website when I saw this:
" Removed "wait on rudder". The gyro will no longer wait until the rudder stick is centred. Spektrum users should bind their receivers while the rudder is at mid-point."
So, does this mean I should re-bind my DX6i? I used the "bind off center" trick as per the instructions when I set up the gyro. Do I re-bind with the stick at center now? Thanks.

I don't get it? Is there a difference in the ds 760 and the Quark? why is one (ds 760) a smm and the (quark ) a mems, if this is the difference then what does that mean?----> and if the quark is newer and mabey better , then why is the ds 760 still cost more?---> ok ok, i didn't realise this was happining, but

Just throwing this one out there, but the new v2.0 firmware in the ds760s do not require the left stick input to enter setup.

Insert a bind plug into the gyro, then power on to enter servo selection mode....

Power on the gyro, THEN insert the bind plug to enter gyro setup mode.

Makes life alot easier... my manual did not reflect this. ALSO use the Quark manual for servo selection because there is now a 4th mode for servos.

The guy said use JR DS8900G settings for Align DS650 , and it works much better, then "generic" , i dont know how but it is true.
This is true??.
And better used gyro sens or ATV for gain in DX7 ??

I have a question about the firmware update to my DS760 2.01, The new defaults setting change compare to the last firmware is better or not than 2.00, or better use the old setting??

I have a question. I have set the 760 on my trex 700. It had been doing just fine until a couple of weeks ago. I had rebound and set up the 760 after a crash and when I went to lift off, the gyro was reversed. I figured that I had bound incorrectly. I went back to setup the gyro again, doing endpoints and gyro correction direction. Went to lift off again, same thing, it started spinning. For some reason, the direction was not saving correctly, so I ended up reversing the rudder on my dx7, went into setup again, setup using the reversed direction, switched the rudder on the dx7 again and flew. It flies fine, but I am wondering why is this happening? I am setting up according to the videos, and had set it up fine before. Also, when I am setting the direction correction in setup, the slider is moving correctly. When I turn the helicopter off and back on, and swing the heli, the direction is again wrong.
