Dfc kills sevos, I've put my 500 down twice now counding today on a full charged battery and the links fly off my elf head leaving no damage to servos. 450 dfc, kills 2-3 sevos every crash.

Oh, I agree in a crash the DFC seems to always kill servos on 450s at least. I don't really like DCF heads but seems everyone going that way.

That's not true compass and align now re-intro of efl heads -

that's heli + daily - cant believe these guys (HF command) sensor - that's sooo unAmerican

As far as 450's crashing -none of the non-metal geared servos do good in crashes - especially that 450 micro sized ones....

Compass has never had a DFC head.

The Compass/TracX/SZ head is a driverless head, which has flexible links which break in a crash (unlike the rigid links on DFC heads).

I have had a couple of hellatious (is that even a word?) crashes on the Compass head, one inverted and in Idle Up-never damaged a servo.

Compass did introduce a conventional head with drivers for those who prefer this type of rotor head.

Correct and correct - I believe compass use breakaway delron tubes in their dfc design -
also goblin has gone to the HPS Head....new E700 - conventional....

Are we seeing the pattern??

Looks if your sponsored - dfc is the way to go......

Where do think - 'dfc' - 'DIRECT FROM COMPASS' saying came from? Align?

After a bunch of reading, I decided to tear apart the logo and decide if I was going to build it based upon how many parts it would need to be in tip top shape. Turns out it might only need a one way bearing and a head button. If that's the case I'll just start slowly buying bits and pieces for it
