Default Help with weird clicking noise

I had a crash which bent boom and other head parts etc but didn't bend tail shaft or break tail case or anything like that. After the rebuild I have a weird clicking noise that sounds like it's coming from the tail when spinning the blades by hand. It was pretty quiet so I have been flying it anyway. But after my last flight it is much louder now. Not sure what would be causing it. I've rechecked the belt and it is not twisted.

I'm afraid to fly it like this. What should I check/replace? Do I need to replace all tail bearings? Oddly, it sounds like it's coming from inside the boom

I will try to post a vid of the sound later

I would try removing the belt pulley tensioner from the tail case. Then look into the tail boom while shining a light in from the frame side to make sure the belt didnt get twisted at all.

Also you can check if the bolt that goes through the belt tensioner pulley isnt too tight. If it is it can squeeze the tail case and make it rub against the pulley.

Probably idler bearing or tail case bearing. usual suspects.I've added drop of oil to 1 bearing at a time till I noticed a change in tone of clicking to determine which 1 it is.

Bearing going bad. I had the same thing going on not long ago. I ignored it and it finally exploded and locked up on spoolup causing a tip over and 70 bucks worth of repairs. Finally gave me an excuse to put on my metal tail case though!

I once had the clicking sound and after adjusting the tail and motor mount again, the click was gone.
There is a fine adjustment point where the relation between the main pulley, tail, pulley and pinion has to be correct, and it appeared somehow the belt was trying to climb the pulley and then was "clicking" into place.
I always try to adjust the belt in small steps, moving both the tail and motor mount.
