Nice one.
I have just started with a gopro on my Mini Titan. How are your videos? I still have a little jello, but youtube manages to get rid of it thankfully. Keep us posted.

UPDATED SETUP
i mounted the gopro with the protective casing because i am NOT going to risk a $300 camera for the sake of some stupid pictures
now i can without the fear of crashing i cut the canopy to make it fit perfectly while it pained me to take a knife to it, it was totally worth it now, i have the camera mounted in its case, and the electronics of the heli are protected PHOTOS TO COME SOONER TODAY!!! |

It would probably hit if you pitched back too quickly.. as a workaround you could relocate the camera or convert to FBL :p

Looks like you gotta find a way of mounting it lower down with custom brackets. I'm currently trying stuff with 3d printing so if I have any breakthrus ill post the files. Other than that there aren't many options for you EDIT: just had a thought: mount a straight bracket attached to the standard battery position (like a tiny diving board). Then attach your gopro UPSIDE DOWN to the bracket. You can flip the image on your gopro in the settings Sent from my GT-S5570 using Tapatalk 2 |

Another example of why the shape of the GoPro really sucks. I have a Contour, and it fits really nice, just clamped to the side of the frame.

Slightly OT here, but why do your pics display in mirror image?

Nice pics, have a look at this product, I ordered a similar one for my gp3. With these cameras its near impossible to not overexpose the sky without one if these:

Please can you let me know if you have tried video in that position.
I cant get rid of the jello on my 450 and the heli is super smooth. I have mine right at the front with a glued on bracket. Anyone know if having the gopro in the case worsens jello?

Thanks for the reply. My jello varies from flight to flight. Its not so bad and youtube can fix it.
Do you have a link to the joehandsome99 video please? Cheers..

Thanks for the video.
i considered this position because of perfect c of g but the obvious problem is the skids in the middle of the video. im going to see if some gel tape will fit inside the housing to isolate the camera. Heres another method which looks good http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=bN-It...%3DbN-ItaMwYeg
