2015 International Goblin Day USA

SAB Heli Division and Prestige RC are excited to announce the first ever Goblin Day USA event.

After successful events in Germany, SAB has decided to bring the incredible spectacle of Goblin Helicopters to the USA. The event has been scheduled for October 2nd through 4th and will feature Factory Goblin Pilots from all over the globe.

The location for the event is the center of the country making it easy for pilots from either coast. For three days of flying, events, raffles, sales, and product debuts. Goblin owners from all over will converge on Fort Worth, TX. Fort Worth, Texas offers big city entertainment with out in the country huge flying sites. And we have teamed up with the Fort Worth Thunderbirds for the use of their field.

For you pilots with families looking for an event with activities for all, look no further. The Dallas/Fort Worth area is loaded with shopping, restaurants, and entertainment for all.


For those of you who just want to focus on flying, Goblin Day offers;

An Autorotation contest,

A speed Challenge,

A 3-D contest for non-sponsored pilots,

• Three days of fun fly events designed for the novice, intermediate and expert flyer. Open flying all weekend.
• AMA Sanctioned Event. 2015 AMA Membership card required. For this event only 2.4gHz transmitter will be allowed. This event is also restricted to Goblin Helicopters.
• General Agenda: The Event opens at 9:00am, Friday, with registration. A pilots meeting will take place every morning at 9:00am. Open flying will continue all weekend with various fun fly activities. Flying may continue Sunday until 6:00pm. Please, no flying is permitted on Thursday or Monday.

Landing Fee: The landing fee for this event will be $35.00 and it includes the following with Ore-registration; (3) days of flying, Pilots Raffle ticket, Goblin Towel, Goblin Decal Sheet, event t-shirt, and pre-registered pilot raffle ticket. For on-site registration the package includes; (3) days of flying, Pilots Raffle ticket, Goblin Towel, Goblin Decal Sheet.

Attention All Goblin Day USA participants,

Due to heavy rain fall in Texas this spring the planned location is currently under water. While we have been assured that the water will recede prior to Goblin Day, the management at Helidirect and ownership of SAB Heli Division have decided to not risk the event and to postpone to a date that will ensure a great time for everyone involved.

As of now the Goblin Day USA event has been postponed until further notice.

Just for clarification on "postponed", Goblin Day USA has been cancelled for 2015. We hope to possibly reschedule in 2016, but at this time there is no confirmed date for 2016. We are very sorry if our earlier post saying "postponed until further notice" caused any confusion.

Again, Goblin Day USA is cancelled for 2015. When we have more info on a possible date in 2016 we will post here and on the major Heli Forums.
