Watch them and your knowledge will grow faster and less painfully.

And even though you didn't fly with that repaired link, even turning it up on the ground things can go bad wrong in a heart beat. Whether you are in the air or not, once those blades are spinning, you are flying. Too much stick will roll it right into the ground.Or something else.

Atm 5 other helis and 2 planes. I have been flying for a year, and I fly about 5 Packs a day. Have about 2000 hours on the sim. I think.

Its over. Unfortuantly didnt turn out well. I aborted. The helicopter wants to spin vigirously to the left. I tried trimming and everything. I didnt get it off the ground due to this reason. It didnt tip over or anything luckily. So its in tip top shape.

So, do you understand why?

It has nothing to do with trim. There are a number of things at play here.

Rate vs head hold, servo direction and gyro direction.

Here is how you test.

Give right rudder and note the direction of the tail blade, then move the heli to the left, the tail blade should move in the same direction as when you gave right rudder.

There is other setting still that could be wrong even if this test passes,

DoctorJ is right Sladex. Sounds to me like you've your gyro reversed.

I know it had nothing to do with trim. I tried it anyhow. I first thought i might have put a gear on backwards causing the tail to run slower. But i dont think that is the problem. Ill try your test now. When i tried it it acted like it should but i noticed something. When i let go of thr rudder control it doesnt center.

I noticed somethign very strange. When my helicopter is on normal mode, bx not on setup mode or anything, it has a full left rudder input. But when i got to the bx and hit tail center, it goes center.

It's not suppose to center, once input is given it will continue to provide input till given trajectory is acquired or till other input is given.

Yes, in setup centering is acquired to help you setup.

That's because you have gyro heading hold set up in your tx.

On your dx8, rate mode is 0 to -100. In rate mode, the tail will return to center position when you let go of stick. In gyro heading hold mode, the numbers go from 0 to +100, HH mode, the tail will sit in the last position you left your tx stick...

Fancy words.... Lol. So what can I do. It passed your test . And I have a lot of right trim in there to center the rudder, is that ok. Each side gets almost exactly the same amount of throw

Should I turn it off from hh mode
