Default Thinking about converting to Helibug Gasser

Soooo.

Since this was my first Heli and I cant get rid of it, Ive been looking at the new Gasser kit from Helibug for my 90. Anybody done this and could you talk more about it and post pics please? I want to go FBL as well but don't know if this will be too heavy for 3D with that big ass motor. I do love my RAPPY

Default Conversion

Well it will be a little heavy for serious 3d. Great sports flyer though. Have 2 whiplashes but fly my conversion the most. For flybarless find a rjx head unless you have metal SE grips,a lot cheaper that way. I enjoy mine a lot

This is mine with a 260 Zenoah. I would say its too heavy for crazy 3D but I don't do that anyway. Got the RJX FLB head on it with a TT ACE GT5.

Hey DaweMD, I am not sure if RJX is a good option. It seems their products got kinda thin in the US. My old Raptor had the 10mm main shaft and then its part FL90-1001

I bought those last year from HeliDirect but they have discontinued RJX. I ordered some RJX links this week from GrandRC in CA but I am not sure if they have the full range in stock.

good luck

With the new os gt15 motor out, would it be a better option than the zenoah?

I haven't even looked at the GT15 yet, but maybe this helps: http://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/t731404p1/
