I struggled with my 90 till I bought a Dynatron, which I run on a 6s lipo.
You have to be careful not to hold the switch too long or a fully charged 6s will weld the switch together, making it tough to stop the starter when in place, especially on your own! Short sharp bursts are fine and start it no trouble. Keith

What battery are you using on the Torque Master?
I use an old Sullivan Hi-Torq (yellow label) starter with a 4S LiPo to start my YS 91SR-3DS. It worked fine for my OS 91HZ-R and 91HZ-PS (when I had those) I change to 3S for my YS 60SR. I would guess I've been using it on my 91 (OS & YS) for about 7 years. If I use a 5S or 6S, it spins too fast and I worry I'll burn it out. |
