apm 2.6 rtl speed
the rtl mode is ok on my apm 2.6, its just returning too fast i think , because when it gets back to the launch point it really has to stick the anchors on to stop itself quite aggresivily.. .which setting is it that i need to tone down a bit to cure this.?.thanks ..

There are two things to look at. The first is WPNAV_SPEED, which I think defaults to 500 or 1000. That is 5 m/s and 10 m/s respectively. 10 m/s is 36 km/h. I use 20 m/s, but that's an advanced setting.
But what might actually be the problem for you, is WPNAV_ACCEL, which is the acceleration (or decel) speed. Default I think is 200, which is 2 m/s/s, or about 0.2G. This should actually be a reasonable setting, but you could try lowering it to 100, or 1/10 G.
