Oh man, I guess you need your new SK1440 more than your heli. You didn't have to smart mouth to me, I just asked a question. Relax. Enjoy your GPS or whatever you ordered.

so please respect each other, we all know if SK ran a bus company you would be late for work every day,

that's because they were checking the tyre pressures and levels to make sure you would arrive safely.

The GPS isn't shipping today. We will have to wait another 2 weeks.

Eh an extra two weeks but what you get sounds pretty good. My iKon was DOA, so now trying to decide if I should get another or wait for the SK720BE. Wish we had some idea when the SK720BE was coming! If you could guarantee me I would have one in my hands before the snow melts I would be fine waiting, but with no idea when it's coming out...

I have seen the Ikon on sale for 170 quite often. Get that one for now and sell it when the black edition comes out. Your loss should be not too bad...

Yes, I received an email saying the same thing a little bit ago. I wonder if the improved anti vibration kit is for the GPS or the SK?

The improved anti-vibration kit is for the SK720, it's a thicker plate. We found were were often advising people to glue two plates together. We will also be posting a new page to the wiki giving advice for how to read vibration logs, and how to balance the tail (> 80% of the time, it's the tail)

The super LED is helpful because we have had beta testers think it was doing a bad job of position hold, when in fact it had lost its gps lock or something similar, and was just drifting around. It should be visible from any distance (and on the flipside, it's a bad idea to have it anywhere in your visual field at the bench)

Glad to see I am not the only one with a faulty Ikon. I too bought one as a fill in for a smaller model and it is a dud

It's hard not to post something negative about all this.

One question I have is does the unit automatically correct for magnetic declination of the region one is flying in? I would assume it does as there is no mechanical way to adjust the GPS RX position once mounted on the heli that I can tell.
