Dang, that heli looks sweet! I'd love to hear from the Dahls if they notice anything in the photos that appears different from their "prototypes".

@ prototype3a,

The only thing I can see from the pictures that may be slightly different mechanically, is the tail boom rear support bracket might be smaller than the one on the 800. Everything else looks like the final parts Kyle and the Mikado Team ended-up using on their machines.

Technique-wise, the only thing Kyle does different than in the pictures, is he mounts the ESC with the FET's down, instead of up. It most likely doesn't matter either way.

Hi Dave,
The YGE doesn't come with a xxtreme heatsink like the 800?

No. It was determined early-on in prototyping that the system didn't need it, and for most of the year and all of the competitions and events Kyle attended, none of his machine used it.

No issues leaving it off, and we fly where it gets really hot in the summer. So, it's not included. It's heavy anyways, and the weight didn't matter so much on the 800, but leaving the weight behind on the 700 is a good thing (-:

Dave your comments will be put to good use Monday for me. Thank you very much for the insight. As you know I could figure out everything you said in about 6+ months of personal use, but to have that info from the get go SURE is nice.

Thanks again,
