It was stated that the xtreme YGE ESC from the
Xtreme will work in the 700 but how about the motor? Assume using 7s battery too. Thx

On 14s you'd need a 21 tooth pinion (which isn't made to my knowledge) if you want 2050 headspeed. The xxtreme 800 uses a lower headspeed so that motor is kind of a low kv if you want to run standard L700 headspeed of 2050.

It'll bolt up and run, but you'll be packing quite a bit of extra weight with that motor (est 200g). My guess is this will also cause CG to be off. That can be fixed but usually means adding more weight. Like Steve mentioned you'll be limited on your headspeed, so combined with the extra weight don't expect a barn burning 3D or super efficient setup. May fly perfectly fine though for sport/mild 3D depending on your expectations.

Best bet would be to keep the ESC and look to swapping out the motor.

Send the esc into YGE and get the UHV upgrade done to it. Run 16s with an insane headspeed and it should be a monster. It will be heavy , but of you put enough power behind it it will still fly good.
