This is what the fin actually looks like...

The hole location is very important because this fin makes up the left side of the tail box. Also the large hole at the rear of the fin is for the tail shaft bearing, that would (obviously) not work with the oblong hole shown.

Also, the dimension that you have listed is too small. The current dimension is 138mm. So, I sould guess people are looking for a dimension somewhere around 158-160mm.

PS - This is starting to turn into a whole other thread....Thanks for your hard work and representation Shawn

I have went thru at least 4 sets of tail rotors, a taller fin, made for the 105s would be a god send.

Default No flat head screws!

I just received my Logo 500 3D kit and I HATE... let me say that again... I HATE the flat head screws!!! On the other hand I LOVE the hex screws! IMHO flat head screws should not even exist in the first place.

To those that have recently purchased the new 600 kits I am sure you noticed the grips are now wider in entry point. You can easily fit "included" 2mm shims on top and bottom of blades now. This is how thing happen in MIkado, I or no one knows, they just change in the kits as the changes happen, all good though.

Howdy Shawn! Hey, how important are those shims? Do they affect performance?

hmm, mine didn't slip right in when I initially test fit some blades. I'll check again when I go to mount the blades for real but I don't think I got the newest grips.

Well even the prior grips which all mine are currently are no issue to get one 2mm shim on bottom or top, but getting two of those in is a treat. Therefore I run one 2mm shim on bottom on all my grips/blades. Yes you need at least one minimum, this is important of course in having the root levelled and to not allow the root to teeter in hearder maneuvers which would throw off tracking or direction of heli with small movements of course, it is very important to run at least one, and two if you can it just takes abit of gruff, but it can be done. The newest grips they slide right in with zero effort really, I noticed this on freinds new 600 kit I was helping him complete a few nights ago.

I think I'm running 1mm shimms in my 600. That's not okay?

Default landing gear

I see alot of people dont like the gear or dont like the way they mount....I dont know about any of you but I fly spider gear on my trex....and if you go to www.xgearheli.com youll find that very soon they will be making the gear for the logo series.....some people say they add extra weight to the heli....but I say 1 they look very Kool yes i spelled it with a k....and two I have had several hard impacts on concrete and trust me these gear have saved my heli....my rex doesnt notice the weight it really is very minimal....autos with a 450 are very hard with normal gear and i broke two sets autoing my rex....with the spider gear the autos very seldomly bounce and the impacts are very much lessened...So I hope at least some of you find that info useful....also they will paint truefire canopies in blue and red flames they look awsome...though a bit expensive
