Default Newbie help with x50 build

Hi guy's , after some help and advise with x50
Build , should there be any movement
In the blade grips? If I lift the tip of the blade
Slightly it feels like there's play in the grips.
I have made sure the grips are tight but still feels
Like there's a bit of play , is this right? Also having
Trouble setting up throttle servo , set the servo
Up at mid stick but it won't close throttle fully,
If I adjust the servo arm then throttle won't open
Fully , sorry this is my first build and new to the
Hobby.
Thanks for any help.
Matt

A little play in the blade grips isn't out of the question. Mine is only two gallons old and it has developed some movement up top. Just make sure no parts are missing in the head, ie; bearings, washers, etc.

Also, if the throttle linkage is setup correctly and you're just not getting enough travel to close the carb with full low trim, you can increase the endpoint/travel adjustment in the transmitter for the throttle channel on the low end to make up for it. Either that or adjust the servo arm like you said and then increase the endpoint adjustment for full open throttle.

Let us know if this works for you.

I just checked and i don't have any play on grips or it's that small one that i call it's none there.

Throttle servo is same as others. Mid position, 90 degrees (tho this is not 100% necessary on throttle servo i think, but it's better for later troubleshooting). Then on full low stick some say engine should not quit. Mine quits tho i am not fully closed, just not open enough. For reliable idle you have throttle hold settings in your radio. When i start everything i go to hold and then start the heli. It's safer this way because if you accidentally drop radio or move throttle stick or what ever, all hell will not break loose.

I also have build topic here if you want to check it out.
