No, he didn't leave. I got this comment from him on the Outrage RC facebook page:

"Tareq Alsaadi Hi nothing happend for sure ,, im not team pilot any more ,, im the ambassador for the company and this is what me and Outrage want to make from 6 month ago for sure i will not stop flying but im going to look for many other important things for the company and makes it stronger with my pilots ,, also i will have my owen link in Outrage website ,, so all the people can have a look on it ,, it will be so diffrent than anything else ,, photos about my helis me house cras life style ,, also about the relation between me and Outrage ,, also some diffrent videos also im going to post about all my steups and every thing that people will need to learn more about helis ,, im sure many people will love it thanks to Outrage company for the full support all the time "

I don't understand what it means, but I'll try. Tareq is still with Outrage but he's the official ambassador? Is Tareq going to become the next Kim Kardashian? Sure sounds like there's an element of reality TV in there. Sounds like fun, but vague. Maybe it's another name for Team Manager (my pilots)? I wonder if he's gonna share mechanics? Come to the States on a diplomatic mission in August? Fun stuff!

Edit: Is any of the silly season stuff going to affect what I'm going fly? Nope. It's all part of marketing and brand recognition. Not that it's a new thought but it is cogent; no sponsored pilot, driver, etc., is going to say their sponsors product sucks. It's part of the game. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

The great thing about being a mediocre pilot is that you're not in any position to be sponsored so the hobby remains fun. I'm as mediocre as mediocre gets. In fact, I'm probably sub-mediocre so I'm having a blast!
