Default Wrong Landing Gear P/N?

So I picked up some replacement landing gear according to HH's website (BLH3204) and discovered that it doesn't fit -- not without modification, anyway. The pins are thicker and about 1/4" farther apart than the stock gear. The manual lists BLH3304, which the HH site doesn't know anything about (I assumed it was a typo in the manual). And just to make matters more confusing, the HH site also references a third P/N for the Nano gear: BLH3004.

Am I missing something?

Just got off the phone with Horizon. It looks like the correct part is EFLH3004 (NOT the BLH3204 listed in the online parts listing). The rep put me on hold, tested EFLH3004 and said it should work, and said he would send me a replacement. So be careful when ordering replacement gear!

AirTime RC might be able to solve your landing gear woes.....

drop Rich an email... There's an airtime thread in the MCPx forum where you can find a contact email.

1.2 grams. Not much heavier than stock. if even.. and if necessary I'm sure they could be make lighter... Rich takes most suggestions into consideration.

Looks good or looks bad? I think they look "tech".

.6 grams heavier than stock, for a total weight gain of 2%

If "tech" means ugly I agree with you they do serve a purpose though, kind of like reflectors on a bike, or a camper on a truck.

The part number is actually EFLH3004 (although its possible they may add BLH3004). This is the part number for the mSR landing gear, which is shared with the nCPX. The mSRX uses different landing gear so that is wrong on the HH site.

And you know it's bad if you have extra MSR gear in your spare parts bin... JUST saying someone or some people may have done that lol...

Oops, typos all around! You're right, it's EFLH3004, not BLH3004. Hopefully HH gets this updated before too many people order replacements. The gear are definitely the weakest link on this heli! The only weak link, I would say after a night of indoor flips

This is why I like the man...

Ok, one of the reason.

He has the products and solution for us hobbyist, yet is still much a hobbyist himself. Great customer service, support and innovation to our segment of the hobby. Yet, he still cares about something looking good. My kind of guy.

It's easy to mod ugly.

Come on guys, give Rich a break. Atleast someone is trying to fix the broken skid issue that we all have griped about. After regluing and heat sinking all my broken stock skids ugly is an understatement there.

I think the new lopros look mean and there will definitely be no tipping over with them. I spent a whole pack Sunday trying to tip my MCPX over with them and couldn't.

Aside from all the pros here. If you are new and crash a lot, get them. Concerned about ugly, if you crash a lot then your heli is going to be nicked and covered with green from crashing in the grass anyway. Atleast Riches skids will be the one part that will probably outlast everything else on your heli. Just my 2 scents giving credit where credit is due.
