Jase, yes it's a 600, working on getting some video, once I can get my video guy trained and learning how to focus and follow a heli, lol.

I got my vbar back in November or so. I think I got my Helicommand around April.

your body did exactly what mine did, it peals and chips really easy, To cure this, i re-sanded all the paint off, kinda use a exacto knife also and chiped the paint off, then sanded it again, then used bumper paint, this allows the aint to flex a little on top of the body, and cause it not to crack or peel or chip. It worked verry well, however you can only do this for electric helis

I like that paint. Really simple and effective. Perhaps it's time for me to take up airbrushing

Thats rattle can paint job my friends! I scuffed with 320 grit, primed then painted daytona yellow and pure white with a 1/8 in silver pin strip.

Are you going to clear-coat over the top? Also, what masking tape did you use?

I could be wrong but it looks cleared now?? I do not fwiw that the DuPoint "jam clear" works real nice and you can buy it in spray can bomb form to.

I havent cleared yet because I may add something to it. I used Dupont automotive paints and the masking tape I used was 1/4in flexable from hobbytown. I was able to make it all the way around the windshield with one piece and no bleeding.
The canopy was all yellow at first, but then I decided to give it a white belly to help with orientation. |
