Default Just acquired 90 SE
Hey All... been wanting one of these and I finally managed to get my hands on a pristine condition 90 SE...

I'm finding it a pain to screw the canopy on and off. Is there a quick release mount I could get for this?

Its been years since I had one, but I didn't use screws to hold the canopy on.
There is an aluminum canopy standoff that has a nipple on the end and a rubber washer on the canopy. I think it is a TT R90 or R60 part.
The standoff has a hole cross-drilled for a clip that keeps the standoff and washer from coming off in flight.

I found it - it is in the Raptor 60 assembly manual:



Finding it is going to be tough.
I'd look at the RC Booya site and figure out a way to hack one of their magnetic mounts to fit the old frame.

Hey - thanks. Clearly my heli has modded canopy mounts then!

I wonder if trex 700 canopy mounts would fit?! I'll purchase a set and will try.

They have some on eBay

Purchased! Much appreciated!
I'm hoping to maiden mine this Monday (Really windy at the moment in the UK but Monday looks perfect) and will tune the engine hopefully. I'll get some photos and will post it here to revive this group a bit
