I am asking about the motor because I saw in your flight videos that you wanted more headspeed and you mentioned putting in a different motor. I think the Gaui 1100Kv is an upgrade motor, but I am not sure. Am I pushing the stock head and tail to much with 2100 rpm?

Please disregard the above - I just found the 550 forum and what I need - Great!!
did you try it how did it work? I am thinking about buying one for a 425. not sure what Headspeed I would want about 2,000 i would guess for a 425

great video as always i just watched them all.
any update on this heli? do you still fly it? did you upgrade motor any new videos?

Will the T-REX 550 wood blades work on the Gaui?

Stock setup with long boom...mostly hovering, lite flying.

thanks,

Default One for Finless

Hi Bob, Bit late in the day for Gaui 550 build, but found these (by accident) bought and fitted them. They take all the headaches out of the offset problem on the bell cranks as they are adjustable after fitting.

I doubt Bob will answer on this forum anymore as I don't think He even has a Hurricane anymore. But I will tell you those look great. I now have the CHP frame up-grade, got it from ReadyHeli, And I love there products.

Well I do have my 550 it's just strippped of electronics and sitting and dusty.

Someone want it?

You pay shipping and yes the head, boom, etc will be taken apart for shipping. Also I have no canopy and who knows how many other little things might be missing like a screw here and there.

Wow Bod, I really didn't think you had it anymore with all your new videos and new builds. I hope you didn't take offense to my conjecture there.

Is it still in the original plastic stock configuration? no CNC up-grades? . Cause I already have 2 of these machines and don't really need anymore.

Yes it is bone stock but I do have a few of the revco CNC derlin main gears and the newer metal motor mount. It also has the full metal head upgrade.

However, I already have 3 people that PMed me about it so looks like I have a taker already.
