When working on two new 90s, time is irrelevant.

It looks like it might be difficult to take out that mainshaft. From what I can see, it looks like you would have to get a screw driver between the frames to undo that setscrew holding the pin. Anyone know for sure?

Bob you wake up yet? I felt asleep while waiting for step #3.

By any chance, could you please tell me how many teeth do the pinion and the maingear have? What module too? It looks like the Aurora runs on 8.27:1 ratio so we possibly cannot get the YS91SR run at 1950 headspeed. I'm gonna make some custom maingears and pinions then...hehe.

The gear ratio is 8.25. The pinion is 12T. I don't know the tooth count on the main gear but with that you can figure it out
OK I did... it's 99

I think that the YS91SR is OK at 1950rpm with a 8.25 ratio which means 16088rpm on the engine side...
The Yamada operating manual states that the engine is OK until 17000rpm so... :-)

Long-

We are running 1850, and 1900. Both headspeeds are awesome, I dont think there is anymore need for a higher headspeed. The YS's sweet spot seems to be around 15300 rpm.
