Canon Powershot G16 - How to set in Movie, manual mode with infinite focus

If anyone knows how to set the Canon G16 camera in movie mode, in manual with infinite focus then I could use the help.

I have the camera currently setup in auto and can shoot movies in that mode, but with moving helis the camera can't maintain focus and it takes a relatively long time to refocus. I have tried going into manual focus, but the scene goes out of focus as soon as the heli moves or the zoom is moved. The camera dos not have a focus ring.

If manual mode with infinite focus is not possible with this camera, then is there a best way to setup the camera in movie mode that minimizes the time it takes to refocus? In other words, a fast refocus?
