Default Tailcase not 90 degrees
Just noticed that the tail shaft is not 90 degrees.. is this normal?

Look at how many "real" helicopters have tilted tails. I am a NOOB to this but think that as long as there is no binding or slop, you should be OK

I think you can adjust it to get it true 90.
slacken the gear box screws in the front end or rear and turn till 90.

Yes, between the tail case and where boom mounts to the frame you can adjust it to be 90 degrees.
