I just picked up a used one in the for sale sections. i am EXCITED as I've always wanted a carbon frame for my 450. I could have always switched airframes, BUT i have so many spare parts and such for the 450x it's not worth switching at this point, and it flies GREAT!

Now it can match the rest of my heli's

I'd like to see a picture of it when you are done. I'm sure she'll be a beauty.

Looks good, you will like the Lynx carbon frame it adds to a all ready great flyer. Have a cc Phoenix lite 50 on mine with a scorpion motor and just put a carbon boom and blade 360 tail boom supports on my 450x. I also have the red devil edition frame the heli really looks and flyies great with these upgrades, long live the 450x

Which motor did you go with? I want more power than the 450x, it I'll be running 4s or 6s..

Relisys90, why the stock landing gear.. I looked at my Lynx skids and I can see them going pretty quickly

If you are on a budget you could go with something like this. Only $14.46

1860KV Outrunner Brushless Motor for 6S Lipo 450 Class 3D Helicopter Type HG2218/1860KV

Lots of better motors out there though. This was the first 6S I came across real cheap.

The stock landing gear is all I have for now. I do like the carbon skids and have been looking at the lynx sets but we'll see. I am running a 2221-8 currently and have a ton of 3s 2200's so I'll stay there for a bit.

Can anyone recommend a good motor for running 4s and 6s setups I'm running a Gaul x3 50a esc w gov this heli needs a good power band. I was considering just getting another 450x motor but I'm curious to see if there is anything a little punchier especially since it will get more juice....

I heard stock 450x motor can run 4s...probably not 6s though..
I just want a little jump so I'm not looking to buy the most expensive performance motor.

Any good 4s/6s motors (can take either or)
The esc I know can handle it
It's down to weight/motor punch/ cost.

Can everyone flood this thread with 450x Lynx stretch kits. Servo placement, tail depth into socket, has anyone gotten the Lynx dfc head to work. I spun it last night and it looks like the arms connected to the blade holders would hit the anti rotation bracket.. No way to know until I fit it all together, would hate to clamp everything down just to find out.. But I will if I don't get answers before I go home. Any tips to getting that main gear and tail gear not to wobble? I pre threaded screws, did same amount of turns on each one just tight not torqued.
