Oh dang. I didn't see a big smoke or fire ball so I thought it might have been the FBL controller. Either way, not a whole lot of control at that point, lol!

Hell, it didn't even have time to fireball or smoke. It was instantly shredded. Those little pieces you see flying are LiPo confetti. There was literally nothing left from the LiPo besides tons and tons of shreds of each individual layer of the cells.

Wow, that's awesome in a gruesome kind of way. Crazy that it caught it square enough that it shredded it like that!

I've done the same but with full 12s5000 packs through the blades. The wreckage had 2 fireballs mid air. Sucked.

Someone really didn't think this through
*designs gold plated engine head for special edition engine* *forgets that head is mostly covered by fan shroud*

Well there's your problem... Mine would be great for a month, then something would break and it'd suck for a few months. N7 hasn't had that problem, haven't had my trex long enough to say.
If I was in the market for a new 105 I'd probably get this one. I might be in the market, haven't had the motor apart from my n7 yet after I chicken danced it.

Motor looks really exposed. Will a frontal plow take out the motor in that airframe? I crash a lot, so I think about these things. (-:

Lol. It would be awesome if it could be done without adding any weight.

You could get a Kasama Srimok airframe, you'd be able to see almost all of that awesome looking engine
