Default What happened to the Brass/Collet Fan nut??

What ever happened to it?
MA was going to bring it on the market soon.
After just having recently done engine upgrades to all three of my X-Cell, I concur that it is the top collet that pulls the alignment off-line.
I am ready to purchase 3 of them.

Alfred,
I believe it is one of the less priority projects till the Razor is released and on the market. Tim says he still plans to make them.
Would be a little expensive and difficult for you to call MA in Sorrento Florida USA since you live in Australia.

Thanks Chris and David
Yes, it would be a bit expensive to call from here
That's fine
I just wanted to find out if the idea had been dropped.
All my engines are installed and running, but I would like to get them when they come on to the market.
So that next time, they would be at hand.

I never would have posted it if I didn't know it to be a fact. Sorry you had to waste a phone call.

Are the "Brass/Collet Fan Nuts" out yet? I just dialed in my fan and it was such a pain.

Come to Bham and you can most likely get the information directly from Tim <G>.

It's pretty cool. I am trying one out now, and it takes all of two minutes to install the fan onto the motor once it has been balanced. Oh yeah, it dials to .0005 every time Hopefully this design will carry forward and MA will be selling it as soon as possible.

No photos as of now, havent gotten a chance to snap a pic.- still working on some design changes too. IF any of you are going to Phoenix, AZ or B-Ham Al in the next few weeks, I will be flying it on my model.

And how is anybody going to see it, if it is installed?
You might be telling stories
3 months to bring out a set of collets? Come on guys, you can do better then that.
This is quite an important item as their are a lot of pilots out there with slightly high vibs, spatially on the Stratuses.
