Default Walkera V450D03 Tail Waggle/Wobble ... something...

I really don't know what to call it...

The tail wags back and forth. I have to say, I'm new enough to the game that I just don't even know what to search for to figure out what it's called. Back and forth left and right is how it sways. I'm not sure if it's seeking, or wobbling, or something else... Anyway, I've done a lot of adjustment of the gain screw back and forth and nothing. Not sure what it really is or how it works to fix it.

I have a DEVO 10 controller, it's the one that came with the system and it's not been updated or anything. Any help is appreciated. It has caused one crash that was pretty intense, but I was able to replace and repair everything. Got it right back to the same point it already was before I crashed it! Anyway, I can fly it like that but I refuse to work hard on it now that I realize it wasn't just the wind making that happen.

PLEASE HELP This is me: for a month now.

The tail is "hunting". It should be rock solid in a hover. Pitch pumps, that's another thread. Check the physical stuff first. Make sure everything is working smoothly from the servo to the tail blades. There should be no binding or sticking. Make sure your tail servo is at 90 degrees at mid stick. Also make sure it has the same amount of travel in both directions. Make sure the servo is not skipping as it could be stripped. There have been some issues with the tail servo on the D03. Do a search for the Futaba replacement. If all that checks out, make sure your gyro, in the radio, is set to manual, mix SW and no more than 80% gain. Next with the heli on the bench, make sure the rudd ext screw is pointing to the minus sign on the RX. This is where mine is set and it is rock solid in a hover. I hope this helps and please let us know how this works for you.

Where did he go ?
Did he sort it out ?
Good write up bro

Gosh darn it , if you did not give him Zack Lee the advise I was gonna write here
If not a bad set up and or a bad servo (original Walkera can do this) Then for sure in his Tx and Gyro setup

Good write up bro , directs to the right things to check and gives him some solutions too.

Tail is hunting like a dog sniffing for a rabbit
