Default I want a Raptor for xmas, but...

Hi,
i am flying electric helis since about 3 Years.
Now my Mini Titan FBL conversion went wrong because I used cheap, stupid China equipment , and I am thinking about a bigger Helicopter.
Now, the problems are,
I dont have to much budget, so it propably wont be the Raptor 90. I like the pricing of the Raptor 60 and the Raptor 30/50.
I also only have a DX6i, and I wont be able to buy a Raptor, and a new 7 chanel remote. Is it even possible to fly the Raptors with the DX6i? I am not doing hard 3D, just loops, rolls and upside down.
Which Raptor would be the best? How much would it be roughly? Does anyone have a used Raptor which he would ship to New Zealand?
Or is it just a better idea to rebuilt my Mini Titan?
Best Regards,
Lennart

If you have the 6i then you should be fine for now. The only thing you wouldnt be able to set up is a governor but you can fly without one. I would go with a 50 for the power and size. a 60 can beconverted to a 90 but man they drink some fuel either way. Ive got 2 50's and theya re great to fly and can take a beating.

I agree - go with a 50 Titan SE and check out the second hand markets (not fleabay) - there are some seriously good deals out there at the moment. A year ago I paid £400 for mine which would have cost me £1000 to build. It's great, flies well and isn't a fortune to repair after a crash.
JTJ is right on the mark with the fuel too - my 90 slurps the stuff like beer
I have governors on both mine, but often fly with them turned off, so you should be good to go with what you have.

I'd look for a good used Raptor 50 Titan or Titan SE. I LOVE my 60 size, but it chugs the fuel.

There are governors where you set the RPM on the unit itself, so no 7th channel is needed.
