Default Video: Scorpion Backup Guard in Whiplash HV setup

Ok HF'ers,

I captured a quick video of my application for the "Scorpion Backup Guard" in my Whiplash's high voltage (HV) setup for anyone that may be interested.

Scorpion Backup Guard (BUG) HV example (2 min 17 sec)

My motivation for doing this was due to my original preconceptions about the application of the BUG in a High Voltage setup. I, like many just assumed that it wouldn't work. However, even though the unit is designed to provide just a 5 volt UPS style backup for the flight electronics in the event of a battery failure or disconnection, it will adequately provide enough juice to run everything provided your servos and receiver can still operate on that lower voltage.

I run RJX and Futaba servos and this all works without any issues. Your experience may vary depending on application and electronics.

It's not the most polished production but maybe it will benefit someone.

Cheers
