KOSMIK and logging

OK, the file that has just been copied over into this folder has been renamed and the other one deleted.

Still the same, program opens it up automatically with out selecting any devices but still greyed out on the import devices tab.

Can't get a DAT file into the software.

dl7uae - files as promised. As helifreak won't let upload .data or .ini please rename there extensions.

Tried a few things but no joy.

So basically problem still the same.

Why is my 'ImportDevice File' tab greyed out and how do I get data from my Kosmiks microSD card to be displayed in the software?

I think you hve copied the files to the wrong directory, must be under
C:\Users\malc1\AppData\Roaming\LogView\Geraete\OpenFormatOpen logview then under devices, choose device, open format you will find your renamed*template

OK finally got it working on both of my pc's.

It turns out that the .INI file had been copied to more than one directory, one of then obviously incorrect.Done when I first put the file in the wrong place by the looks of it.

Found by doing a search for the file using the Win XP facility.

The Import Devicefile tab is no longer greyed out and I can now view everything OK.Just have to customise the template to get the correct headspeed's displayed.

My "Import Device File" tab disappeared. I can still select it in the File drop down, any idea how to get the tab/button back?

Means Logview can't find the ini file - check it is still in the correct place (qv)

for me, time is wrong in the .2.7.5 version, but I can import fine

Looks like even in your vids it's gone from the tool bar. I think it is just the new version of LV. It is in the file drop down (as in vid) and works fine.

.ini seems correct as per generator and is right place with working pic too.

Well, i was browsing and noted that Kontronik is releasing a bluetooth module and with ipad or smart phone you can download all data from Kosmik without the need for anything else. I read that on world of heli. If that is true then no more pain

Im interested in that too as this is mind boggling when i bought it i just thought put sd card in computer then it would load everything in a kontronik software simple and easy just like programming a kontronik.

Any news if this app will display the data? Or just pull the file off the Kosmik?

The app will give you a live view of the perameters
