That's a good point. Isn't that motor shaft spinning at some crazy speed like 25k+ rpm?

Just built one of these , had zero issues with mine on the build side, will be setting up the swashplate and Beast X tomorrow, 3G i gave to a buddy as I don't like the feel of it, just a personal thing.
Looks a fair bit meatier than my 700 I must say

Default Do you need the pinion counter bearing

Seems like a part that can end up biting you.....what does it do and can you do without it?

I believe without the pinon bearing block, main gears would be stripping left and right because of motor shaft flexing. It gives the motor shaft a third supporting bearing and helps keep the pinion to main gear mesh constant.

Once the pinion to bearing clearance is set, it only requires a drop of triflow every once in a while and is pretty much care free.

Same here, all ready to test with Beast x set up, BUT, i found a MAJOR problem with my BLADES, the leading edge on one is full of moulding faults where air will get in and rip them apart, have to return them for a new pair, noticed it when i was settingup the pitch.

Found out that the magnetic canopy mounts for my 700e fit the 800, so bought a set in black, sure makes mounting and removing the canopy a sight easier

Have you guys tried the 2.1 version of the 3gx software. when i upgraded all mine a few weeks back they all flew way more responsive.. Totally different than the old software.. the older versions felt slow on rolls and not as precise.. even my 800 rolls fast like a crazy 450.

I never use 3gx anymore. Ar7200bx. I never liked the sluggishness, be nice if they are better.
