[EDIT: Thanks ]

Great videos - might seem like really simple things, but somebody always asks and these explain it much better than words. Especially loved the first one too - might actually be lucky our office firewall won't let video through...

Ooh, and now that I've reserved a space in this thread I guess I'll have to shoot some videos.

Any paper (about 80 grams) will do, paper used in printers, copiers, magazines. Use the most commen paper, it will give you about 0.1 to 0.2 of a mm play on the gears

Cool Belt CP videos

Hey Ber60 I really like your videos and they are very helpfull! but only if you could get Barry White to narrate (if he were still here) that would be the icing on the cake!

Happy day,

I have some wonder about my li-po battery.

1) After every 10-15 mins flight with my belt CP, I felt that the battery temperature quite high. almost can't hold it on hand. Is this OK?
2) The Belt-CP manual said that "charge time cannot exceed 120 mins", but I need about 6++ hrs to charge my 11.1V 1800 mAh li-po batery and about 7++ hrs to charge the 2100 mAh. Is this what it should be?
3) What the discharging rate : 20C/10C means?

Thanks

1) Judging on your flight times you discharge the battery too far that is why they get so hot, try to keep your flight time below 10 min for the 1800mA battery
2) With the stock charger and batt charging time is about 3 to 4 hours, 6++ means there is somting wrong with the charger or battery. My guess a faulty charger , a good/better charger ( no Esky one) would do the job in 1 hour.
3) Discharge rates : 1C = charge rate ,in your case 1800mA/2100mA
..............................10C =10 * charge rate or 18000mA or 18A
..............................20C = 20 * charge rate or 36000mA or 36A

Hope this helps

Thanks Ber60

What you mean is below 10 mins per flight? because what I mean 10-15 mins is where I hovering then landing, hovering then landing...

The quick charger that you mentioned is it what they call "Balance Charger"? No problem to work on any type/brand of li-po bettery? My betteries are from e-sky.

If you deplete your batteries to far they will get hot, if you are not sure what flight-time stop every 2 mins and feel the battery temp and stop when the battery feels to hot you will notice it will be below or around 10 mins. If a lipo is run to hot to frequently it will shrink the battery's lifetime.
Yes it is a "Balance Charger" and it will work on Esky batteries too.
I am sorry I can't help any further because I am going on holliday but if you need more info on chargers just ask the guy's I am sure they will help you
