I want to find out how the zeal 325 energys fly, need new blades and choosing between those and the sab 325s. Leaning towards the SABs now.

I've flown Zeals in all those sizes

The 350s are okay...But the 360s are so much better than I retired the 350s and never looked back.

As for the 325s..and this goes for all Zeal blades. They run heavier than most other blades. Slighly thicker airfoil and quite rigid. I find this gives nice stops and pop, but may require a gain adjustment.

The weight gives stability to the disk. The disk is a little less reactive off center, but increasing your FBL agility cab counter this

They hold a lot of energy for autos though

I have the SABs (the old black&white, don´t know the new "Blackline") on my lightweight Mini and they are very nimble on cyclic, suit the bird very well. Because they are so light (21g/each) they also recover HS quite fast. But as mentioned previously for the SAB 350s, I had to dial the head gain down to get rid of wobbles during hard stops.

I also have the blue Align 325s , they give a nice bark at lower HS and handle wind much better (27g/each).

For my stretch Mini (and also overall) I much prefer the Edge 353 to eveything else I´ve flown (Align 360, Tarot 345). Not even in the same league in terms of fluid control to the others.

I´m curious if the 325 Edge SEs perform similar. I also had a look at Rail 326s, read good things about them.

The edge 325s are too mushy and slow for my taste but handle very well at hurricanes. Will try out the SABs. Second pair of blades that I will try, will see how they compare.

Just saw there is no "SE" 325 Edge blade, my bad.

It´s nice to try different designs, like trying new shoes.

I just mounted Halo 360 blades on mine after a crash wrecked my SAB 350's, can't wait to try'em. They have a 2mm wider chord compared to the SAB blades so they should eat some air. Click image for larger version

Those Halos look nice. How much do they weigh? And please report back how you like them!

I just ordered these, SAB 350 discounted:

I hope they are as snappy as the 325.

I have no way to check weight.

I just flew a test&tune battery and it was easier to tune the tail with 360&62 blades than it was to tune it with 350&60 blades.
While tuning the tail I did notice that it was more responsive than with the 350 blades.

I think these are the older SABs, I will be getting the 325s black and white, also at a discount:

I think both are not the newest blades, hence the discount. The 350 linked look like they are the "Red Devil" type, whatever the difference was to "normal" SABs.

@Jomaba I also noticed more pop with 360s (Align) to the point where they were a bit overwhelming for my 3S power system.

It may be a bit much for my Pulse battery (it's my warm-up/test&tune pack anyway) but I'm confident in my A-spec battery. If it does turn out too much for even the A-spec, I will upgrade to 4s or 6s Xnova. If I do need to go that route, it will cost me an esc, maybe Castle lite that can handle 10p motor.

I just flew a couple flights on the Halos, I had a little more tail tuning to do but I Love it more now! The Pulse battery struggles with it but the A-spec keeps up much better.
