Default Adjustment tips for 4G3

This has probably been posted before but I've only just started out and thought that other people would benefit from this link.

http://www.walkera.com/en1/info.jsp?id=95

The tips made me look at the head more closely and made me realise how badly it has been put together, everything was really loose. It's been that way since i bought it. Turns out that one of the screws going into the feathering shaft was hanging on by a thread (no pun intended ). It must have been stripped as the head just twisted off. So i've ordered another another shaft. No way I could get the screw shaft out. Lost a spacer while doing it though, luckily I have a spare. Hopefully it may fly better when I have done all this to it.

Well i've set up the heli as per the link, tightened everything up and greased. What a difference. I can now hover this thing for ages. Before it was all over the place and now it is nice and calm (well as much as can be expected). Shame it's 50mph winds outside, otherwise i'd be in the back garden trying to do more than hover.

I bought a used 4g3 that the previous owner put the metal head on, and I couldn't even get it off the ground hardly when it got here. I went through it per these instructions and I can get it to hover now, It is still twichy and I need alot of practice but getting the head and linkages set up right made a huge diff in my heli. Downside I think I burnt up the tail moter trying to get it set up so I gotta get some on order. Can't afford to go brushless right now or I would.
