Unhappy Issues after updating my 3G

Hi there,

Just took out my Align 700 N FBl 760 out of my store after a few years ..... and decided to give it a new life so,I ordered the Align kit to update the software and followed meticulously the manual.

Everything was looking fine and even got the message that I had successfully updated my system to the V 3.0 !!

Thought wow, I'm almost there just a few minutes more to initialize the system and here i will be flying..... thats when things started to become different ....

After starting the system and setting up the pitch for both collective and cyclics I had the following issues :

1. When I was at the stage where i had to check for proper compensation of the elevator while moving the helicopter nose up and down, there was no compensation whatsoever and same for the ailerons....
2. After completing the set up and when i rebooted the system it seemed that the system was not initializing properly as the swash plate did not move 1 mm....and when i tried to put some collective here again, the swash plate was stuck....

I tried to reprogram everything a few times but always face the same problem.

I finally just ordered a brand new 3 Gx kit hoping that i will be lucky this time.

BUt until I receive the unit, which will certainly take a longtime as i live in the Indian Ocean, was hoping that one of you freaks could help me sort this out.

I look forward for your help....

B

while in setup mode is the LED indicator flashing from green to red or is it solid green? Make sure once you've first entered the setup mode that the 3G controller has properly initialized before pressing the set button. The light should be a solid green. If you're pressing the set button while the lights are still blinking from red to green the system has not initialized yet and doing any setup won't work. I had to do this a few times to figure it out. Hope it's a simple issue like that, if not, I have no idea what's wrong. I have setup literally over 20 helis with a 3G system so I'm quite familiar with the unit.

Good luck!

Bry
