I am running the whole ds95 cyclic and ds95i tail servo set on my 6S 450 pro with microbeast, the tail gain is now about 15% higher than I could ever get it with the futaba 9257. MKS make some of the best servos in the world. They also make the Torque servos for outrage, I use the outrage tail servo 9188 on a couple of my large machiens and the tails are much better than any other tail servos I have tried. and I have tried MANY.

What's the consensus on the Ds8910A+ mini servo? Specs are comparable but is it as precise and slop-free as the Ds95 series?

I think it's more expensive than I'm willing to spend on the 250... So JR DS290G for me although I hear that the DS95i is the best tail servo for this heli, period.

A DS95 should be OK for the tail too. Those servo's are amazing, I'm using the 95/95i combo on my 450Pro too.

Which servo arms to use? The one that is include come with two side ... Do I cut off one side?

Me too, but I haven't run the cyclics with my new Sk-720 yet since my blades are in the mail. Should be interesting to see how all this ties together with my previous 6s scorp mod.

Yes, you can either cut them down to single sided arms or leave the counter arm on. It looks better trimmed off. But, if you crash and tear the end off the arm you now have to buy another arm. If you leave the double arm alone it leaves you with the option to just turn the arm over, trim the bad piece off and go flying again.

Ds95 are more than sufficient for cyclic. You would want to use those and not the 95i. It's for the tail.

You cannot run the 95i on the cyclic. They are 760µs tailservo's. Won't work on the cyclic.

On the swash it is better to have some more torque anyway. The DS95 are more than fast enough on the swash.

Since I am now have the unenviable task of rebuilding my T450 Pro, I'm seriously thinking about the DS95s for cyclic since I have a FBL setup and I've heard they are the only servos that stand up to that kind of stress and the occasional shock load.

Oh no! Not you too! Sorry! Oh well, I have some new Mks Ds95 cyclics showing up tomorrow for one of my new builds after wreck carnage also. Man it hurts paying for them.

I really want to get these servos for my 450 FBL Pro.
But the idea of paying over 300$ for micro servos is killing me
But i know they are the best.

Yeah, they sure are expensive servos but until you've plugged one in and played with them, they don't seem to be worth the money. I'm not up to speed with all the latest stuff out there, but I have NEVER seen a micro servo that had ZERO slop and amazingly smooth, quiet, and fast. I just ordered 3 Ds95s for the new Pro kit on the way! Hope they do hold up to crashes as well as they say because I will definately be testing their durability.

I just finished rebuilding my 450 Pro and put MKS DS95s on the cyclics. I can't fly well enough to tell the difference between them and the old Align DS410s but everyone says they are a lot stronger and will survive better in a FBL environment. The 450 seems even more stable if that says anything. When I first test hovered it, I thought I was having problems getting it to lift off and then looked under it and saw the skids 2 inches off the ground. I have NEVER had one of my helis hover that stable (and no I didn't have the self leveling enabled).

I know one thing. They sure are fast! I was doing that flick the control levers thing like in the video and watching them. The arms are almost a blur. When I still had the servos out I was flicking the lever and watching them dance on the workbench. Funny!
