Hi Luca,

How are you doing?

I recieved the new 91 and WOW can't belive the power and ease of setup.
Zach at Lynx Heli is great, and a huge help.
Customer service is OUTSTANDING...
I am waiting on delivery of my new 57 for my 600,can't wait to try it out.

What is your breakin procedure for the 57. Any tips?

I will post some information on both engines very soon. But so far I could't be any happier.

Thanks
Mike Gaeta

The fan looked pretty balanced on the balancer. Only hiccup was my balancer rod seemed to be a little bent and kept messing up some readings, but I believe I found the right balance with the fan, hub and clutch. I plan to use the cooler later on, maybe if I can get it before I maiden and break in the engine I'll put it in. It's out of stock in most places right now.
You don't have to balance the fan right that was already done? I never balanced my 700 fan, clutch nothing bro. Hundreds of flights later, some of which you have seen, have me believing I will be ok.

I agree Mike that most of the time it will be balanced, but some of my parts are used and some are new. The Quick UK clutch and fan are used and the hub is new so I wanted to make sure they're all balanced as a unit.

Luca what plug do you recommend for the NR913D V2? I live in Southern Cali and I think colder plugs are more common here. Will a regular #8 work on a NR engine? Just asking because they're easier to come by out here. Or should I keep using the HR2 type plug that came with my engine?

Edit: Whoops, I thought the #8 was cold, it's medium hot...

This setup guide is invaluable, pay particular attention to setting the carburettor barrel to the correct angular position for idle. This helps ensure that your idle and mid range mixture setting is done correctly.

For the REX 91 I recomand medium / hot plug for the high fuel flow, than Novarossi HR2 or OS8 or Enya3, your choice.

Hi Luca,

Should I add the shims if I am using 30 % nitro in the 91 or 57?

Thanks

OK, pipe's on and the exhaust cooler and brackets as well! Plumbing's also done, so a few more things before this baby can take flight!

Special thanks to Stuart for all his help!

Hi guy, I see you make nice job, the Novarossi combo look awesome, for me is a honor see this pictures. One important tips than come to me as FAQ.
In the Novarossi engine the carburetor when installed, MUST be insert / push in very very well. Is really important to makes the designed o ring seal, I advise that to all you Novarossi user to check it in your heli.

Geez Martin you leave the hobby for a year then you come back and build twice the 700N that I have. Nice job, looks great, really really jealous. Oh and geez did you get a big receiver pack, what is that auxiliary power if the engine runs out of fuel? lol

LMAO yeah it's the new Hybrid 700H, JK! Tests show once you throttle up, it won't come down! Just Kidding, LoL. It's just a pack I use to keep the heli on all fours haha! Thanks for the comments Mike! I love this heli, and I'm being a little crazy with it haha. I probably won't start it up until it has the best of everything on it lol.

Hehehe! I'll be sure you're there Mike! More pics up on my profile!

P.S. I installed the Lynx clutch yesterday and got really sad! The thing is just too pretty to be hiding inside the heli where no one can see it!
