Official maiden flight of my 500ESP

Well my first maiden I had a couple days ago sucked, I had my sensor on my boom block Spartan 3mm tape, metal plate then thin Spartan tape to the sensor (which was somewhat wobbly). Took the bird up 9oclock to 12 oclock gains resulted in Ail wobbles and ele FF porpoising. Overall a crappy experience so packed it up with my tail between my legs
A new day today. Leon's sensor mod completed following Bears video using Goop. Thanks by the way great how to. Sensor moved to bottom tray and switched sensor mount to Align tape, Spartan metal plate, Spartan thin tape to sensor (allot more solid). AR7000 on gyro tray and 3G receiver on top of boom block. I left the gains alone at around 10oclock on both, took up to a hover, no wobbles quick piro, tail is perfect no wag and locked in at 61gain on TX. Added a couple clicks of trim to level it out into a rock solid hover. Took it for some FF a little porpoising so brought it down and dropped ele gain to about 9:30... It's now perfect. My hands were shaking a bit taking it for my first FBL flips and rolls hoping nothing unexpected happened and it didn't. I cant tell you how excited I am to have a nice flybarless system. I put it off for a long time and finally got one and couldn't be happier. Thanks fellow freaks for sharing your experiences, advise and how to's. I couldnt have done it without you Now I just have to get used to flying it, It's a strange feeling flying flybarless, it's hard to put into words how the heli is different but it's definitely different in a good way.
