Default Blade ?

The mod is done and I have Mavrikk G5 wide chords on my 500 now but it feels a little sketchy in FFF, it's stable but every so often I had it balloon or porpoise on me which sucks at low altitude fast flying and your not expecting that behavior. Will Edge fbl blades cure this? The gain is around 10 o'clock and any higher results in oscillation so my gain is maxed, I don't have the USB cause I have a mac so I don't have the advanced settings available, is there an advanced setting that can remedy this? Please help me.

FBL blades are a must IMO. I would bet that you would see a difference.
As for not being able to connect to a pc, you will be limited to the gain pots on the unit and your inital set up. Have you got a friend with a pc you could use?

Default Thanks for the reply

Ya, my upstairs neighbor has a PC, i guess I could use his. I kinda thought I would need the USB with only two adjustments available to me, I am definitely pretty limited to my fine tuning right now. I know the 3G has expo built in and I've heard I shouldn't run expo in both the 3G and TX which I do. I was hoping I could keep my Mavrikks though because they were a really nice blade with my flybarred setup but If anyone knows where I can get the 423mm Edge FBL blades anywhere that has them in stock please send me a link.

I've been buying mine at espritmodel.com

the fff vertical pitch up... Mine did that when I first set up the heli. I had the swash driver out of phase with the main blades, almost 45' off. It would fly... But it was fighting itself. I would get a up and down bobbing motion in fff, and occasionally when I'd give it a slight downward pull on the right stick it would go just about vertical. Changed the phasing to match the main blades... Never seen it again! I've got pics if you need it.
