Default What is this for?

I'm new to this hobby so I thought this belonged here not the 250 forum, correct me if I'm wrong.

See those two little circles inside the skids of my trex 250 skids? What are they for? I'm ever so curious as everything was fairly self-explaining on this heli.

Thanks!

I think that's left over from the FM radio/receiver days to run the long antenna wire through.

Yeah it's where the little plastic tube goes that holds antenna wire. I am so glad I don't deal with antenna wires.

Thanks guys!

How long were these antenna? Gotta love technology. My best guess was to give my heli a stick to poke people with, lol.

+1 The antenna on the transmitter and receiver were quite long. On the transmitter if you forgot to extend your antenna, you could find yourself in trouble quite fast.

No reason they can't be repurposed, I guess.
