Size comparison with my Warp 360. Although I'm running 6S on both, I initially have 320 blades on the X3. Overall they're dimensionally very close. X3 might in fact be a fraction longer and taller though the tail diameter is less because to the smaller grips.

Flight wise, I believe my KDE 1750 motor is waiting at home for me so I'll know at the weekend (if it doesn't rain). I really like the Warp, it's a very good heli, so I'm intrigued to find out.

Build wise, they are very different in approach and I enjoyed both. Both have minor build shortcomings (hub and tt drive on the X3 and pulley alignment on the 360) but I found neither of these to be particularly bothersome. Although I like the 360 design, there's also a great deal to like with the X3 - 3 bearing main shaft, slot in lipo, fantastic plastics - the latter for me being one of the draws rather than a detriment.

I'm really looking forward to the maiden so will update my comparison in due course

Anyone else wanting a mainshaft collar ? The mainshaft has a groove in there already for one.

I didnt get to maydan today, but after spooling up (and seeing a nasty vibe at around 2300rpms in the boom) the vibes went away at full speed, and im guessing the bearing blocks settled in. Now i have a little up and down play.it was shimmed perfect before.
I think im close enough but the collar would make it perfect

Now that it's settled just move up the 3rd bearing. If you still have play then you didn't put enough shims inside the OWB hub, before putting on the circlip.

Now that I've put some flights on the X3 (albeit not very challenging), purely from a 'feel' perspective, I'm inclined to say the X3 (not that I in any way dislike the Warp). Servo's are the same, so maybe it's Ikon on the Warp vs vx1n on the X3(?). Warp is alround smooth, but X3 feels, at this stage, better connected. Maybe i've just not hit the right combination of sliders on the Ikon that best suit the Warp(?). My latest adjustments to cyclic gain went from 'not quite' to 'over responsive' Didn't need any adjustment on the vx1n to get it how I 'envisaged' I wanted. Both heli's are 'latest approaches' so has 'better' now come down to FBL controller comparisons?

I'm indecisive between those two which one would you keep if you could only have one? And why?

The difference in sound is remarkable though, the Forza is quiet and the X3 sounds like a bigger heli

I would love to see a good flight comparison in between these three. How do you think they performed Danny?
