Default I have play what's the fix?

Ok I purchased this used X50 on RR for $500 and is RTF not a bad deal I thought for what was included. Upon inspection I noticed there is end play at the bottom bearing block when I pull the head from the top it moves a bit. Having built many helis from TDR's to Goblins and everything in the middle this doesn't seem normal. So X50 owners is there a fix is it normal?

On page 12 of the manual. It shows the Main Shaft Lock Ring. Loosen it up and pull the shaft assembly up then tighten the lock ring.

helikraft.com for me. They have pretty much everything on stock all of the time. Shop based on Taiwan same as TT brings some advantages i guess . Also they carry some more upgrades like metal clutch fan KL0049 which is improved copy of original one (fins are curved for higher air flow, shim is built in so to say).

Hey guys, its best to push down on the head and up on the lock collar to remove the head play. It can be done both ways. Pulling the head up is moving the main shaft further out of the lower bearing. Last year at ircha i asked a team pilot about it just to see what they would say and they aslo said push down on the head. Just thought id pass that along.

From TT main website, right click the download link and choose to save. Its worked better for me that way in the past downloading manuals from them.
